Carnival Conquest 2013--Day 7 Food Choices

Here was the menu for our final night in the dining room:

Here are our final selections:

Our dining room team for the week was EXCEPTIONAL!

It always amazes me how they remember your names so easily and all of the things you like.  Until next time, Carnival!

Carnival Conquest 2013--Towel Animals

If you've ever been on a cruise, you know that Towel Animals are a favorite part of every cruiser's day!  It's always fun going back to your cabin and seeing what animal your cabin steward has come up with.  Here's what we enjoyed on board the Carnival Conquest:

The cabin stewards are so talented to make these every day for the numerous cabins they take care of!

Carnival Conquest 2013--Day 6 Food Choices

I'm not really sure what we ordered for our second Elegant Night dinner, as the only photos I found were of our appetizer choices.  At any rate, here's the menu we had to select from:

We both chose soups for our appetizers:

We also had photos made after dinner, and this has turned out to be one of my absolute favorite photos we've ever taken on a cruise!

Now, it's time for Towel Animals!!!

Carnival Conquest 2013--Cozumel, Mexico

Our last port of the trip was Cozumel, Mexico.  We didn't have any major plans here.  We walked down to Jimmy Buffet's Margaritaville to buy shot glasses for the in-laws, then we took a taxi back to the port.

Once we got back to the port, we found a bar near a little beachy area that had free WiFi and a massage area (NICE!).  I got a massage while my husband drank margaritas.  We spent a little time there just relaxing and had time to check in on emails and send a quick one to family.

Cozumel was a nice, relaxing day for our last port day.  Now, it's off to get ready for the second Elegant Night and the last Sea Day!

Carnival Conquest 2013--Day 5 Food Choices

We had a great day in Grand Cayman, but we were definitely ready for dinner!

Here's what we chose off today's menu:

More amazing food!

Carnival Conquest 2013--Georgetown, Grand Cayman

Little did we know when we arrived in Grand Cayman that it would turn out to be one of our favorite places!

We didn't have an excursion planned for Grand Cayman, so we just spent the time walking around town and doing a little shopping.  Getting to port, we boarded a water taxi (also known as a tender) from the Conquest.

We enjoyed seeing some little statues and fountains around town, and we stopped at a bar right by the dock on our way back to the ship for a few drinks!

Once we got back to the ship, we took some pictures of the island and even saw a British Naval ship anchored offshore!

The thatched roof just above the tender boat is the bar where we had drinks!

Grand Cayman is such a beautiful country!  If you haven't been, please take the opportunity to go!  Third port--Cozumel, Mexico!
